The team behind.

Arnaud Collery, the only stand up comic and comedy writer in America that appeared on NBC last comic standing of June 08 as a quarter finalist is the creator of the project klaus Pierre. He wrote, produced and directed KP. During the course of the ordeal around the world from March 08 to August 09 he fainted two times, each time finishing in hospital and happened to have his forehead frozen for a whole month. The Chinese doctors simply said the Nervous system had broken down.

He was fortunate to have Janet Nakano a graduate of the New School in NYC as the main editor. She spent 7 months full time on the project and fought a lot with Arnaud..resulting in a movie that will both please men and women around the world. Laurent Bertoni the DP has been working in European comedies for the last decade and followed us around the world.

Most of the investors behind were Japanese or based in Japan...why could they relate to the reality humor that KP does? No one knows but it seems that investors were really smart people all along and believed that KP can transcend humor across boundaries and borders to make a truly unique humor. The budget is 100 times less than the average Hollywood movie. It was done guerilla style.

In the 7os French comedians had been the most famous around the world with De Funes, Bourvil, Pierre Richard or Fernandel.  Maurice Chevalier was once the highest paid actor of Hollywood. In the 80s Eddie Murphy, Jim Carey or Mister Beans become the world comedian and for the last 30 years everybody has forgot about French comedians.

We were fortunate to have been inside many Chinese schools or stadiums or even TV stations with Klaus Pierre and have personalities such as Miss Jay from America Next Top Model or Doc Nakamatsu, the leading scientist of Asia behind us.

Thanks to the 12 feedbacks sessions we had around the world in front of 15o people from september 08 to september 09, we are confident the audience will like our movie, whether they are French, American, Chinese or Japanese as we conducted sessions in Beijing, Tokyo, Paris and LA for people between 18 and 60. It seems that women love it even more than men.

Some people think Klaus Pierre is the last romantic person left in the world..Romantic from his way to deal with love but also from his way to deal with the world at large. Romantic is an attitude whether in love or anything else. It is to be in a state of non judgement and continuous exploring of oneself and the world.
